Below are psychology terms I have learnt from various reading and key resources

Affordance →The perceived ability of an object to perform a specific action, based on its design and visual cues.

Anchoring → The anchoring effect is a psychological phenomenon in which an individual's judgements or decisions are influenced by a reference point or "anchor" which can be completely irrelevant. For example, an individual may be more likely to purchase a car if it is placed alongside a more expensive model (the anchor).

Baader-Meinhof effect → When your awareness of something increases. Think of when someone has said “I swear everyone has a mini cooper these day” and then all you see on the road is mini coopers.

Banner blindness → We have learned content that resembles ads, or appears in a location on the screen where ads normally are. Ensure critical information is not displayed there or in that way.

Behavioural consistency → refers to people’s tendency to behave in a manner that matches their past decisions or behaviours. We default in order to ease decision making. (ref : NN Group, The Principle of Commitment and Behavioral Consistency (2018))
